Leena reaching Macau and hitting casinos

Well let me first introduce myself !! I am a simple Bengali girl in her early 30's and I love traveling and exploring places and adventures are on my cards. I believe in the power of travel and in helping you make the most of every trip.

Here I am highlighting my experiences good or bad about Macau, an autonomous territory on the western side of the Pearl River estuary in East Asia.
Well let me first tell few words about this small beautiful island in the heart of Asia. Macau is bordered by the city of Zhuhai in mainland China to the north and the Pearl River Delta to the east and south. Hong Kong lies about 64 kilometres to its east across the Delta. So it is quite possible to reach Macau from China and Hong Kong by ferry.

Myself being an Indian, tourist Visa is on arrival and hence flight up-down tickets and hotel bookings are enough for getting a tourist visa for 30 days stay in Macau and visa is free.

So, I just booked my flights and hotels beforehand. I stayed for 6 nights there where my first 3 nights are solo trips and rest 3 nights my parents joined me in this expedition. Since I always look for something happening so I chose to stay my first 3 days in AirBnb at a Chinese lady's home. The best part was neither she could speak English nor do I understand Chinese!!! Hey!! don't worry, thanks to this internet generation where google translate helped me a lot in these 3 days :)

I was always in touch with my host who is a beautiful warm lady. I stayed in Macau peninsula area which is actually Old Macau that has Macau heritage as well as famous for it's beautiful and outstanding casinos. Every casino's has it's own free shuttle and they have this free shuttle services from airport as well as ferry terminals. Macau has 2 ferry terminals- 1>Macau Outer harbor ferry terminal 2> Macau Taipa ferry terminal. So if someone is coming from Hong Kong, they can avail the ferry services to reach Macau.

Since I arrived at Macau airport, I first passed the immigration and once I get out of the airport I can see almost 10 casinos free shuttle bus waiting. each shuttle has name on it. Since my place was near Wynn Macau so I took that shuttle and in another 30 mins I am already in Wynn Casino in Macau peninsula.

The best part my land lady was waiting for me just where I got down from the shuttle bus and you can see the pretty lady welcoming me in Macau, though I was pretty tired after 12 hours of journey :(

She took me around Wynn Macau and then she helped me to buy a local sim and finally took me at her place. Now guess what !! :) She cooked lunch for me and this was the first time I was in a Chinese house and having authentic Chinese sumptuous lunch.

The food was really tasty !! Yummy it was :D
The best part was my roomies. There were two beautiful young chinese girls with whom I shared my stay and nevertheless I will always be grateful to have them in this trip who not only guided me with the different places in macau but also become my friends. Once I reached I got freshened up and had lunch and then 3 of us headed to MGM (one of the best casinos in Macau- a branch of Las Vegas).
So you can see me with these two beauties. We had loads of fun though we were exchanging thoughts in google translate :P It might sound strange but believe me it is now 1 month I am back in India but we all 3 are still in touch ! thanks to weChat :)
We started exploring the beautiful MGM casino. You can just see the below pics to see how much i have enjoyed the very 1st day in Macau. :)

As you all can see the beautiful interiors of MGM Macau :)
After exploring this, I headed to Wynn Macau where I saw the beautiful fountain show and Wynn Macau is just next to MGM Macau :)

Well that's how my first day in Macau ended!! After all this we all headed home and cooked dinner and shared bed time stories :)

This is just the beginning :) The rest 5 days are still left :D

More stories and pictures are on it's way !!! :)

Stay tuned :)

keep watching my blog !!!!
